It’s been a long time since I’ve seen everyone through STAFF REPORT.
This is the person in charge of ThanKYU.
After KyuJong was enlisted, there were many difficulties in conveying his news,
And there are parts of concerns too,
Thus we are extremely careful in conveying any news to ThanKYU… (Please try to us too everyone…)
But today!!
I am here because we have something that we must say.
Sometimes, we have heard of various news about having a short meeting (?) with KyuJong when (they) went to find KyuJong at the place where he works at.
Time flies at the same time goes slowly too.
Already this much time has passed by,
Looking at the balance of D-DAY at the homepage, it seems like there’s still a long way to go!
Everyone has this same feeling isn’t it?
Today, I will briefly show you the parcel which KyuJong sent,
As well as to let you know that KyuJong is doing well.
ThanKYU has been doing various charity works under the name of KyuJong & ThanKYU all these while, and KyuJong has participated in it together too.
He wanted to help in the charity work for knitting hats for infants
So he knitted the hats in his free time after work and sent it over to the office.
Even though we heard sometimes that he is knitting the hats^^ but having received them, made me imagine KyuJong’s look when knitting the hats with the knitting needle.
Indeed, he is our thoughtful star!
A total of 14 hats were sent today.
Various colors are pretty and he really knitted well. KyuJong said he has gotten help from his mother.^^
The hats will be delivered to ThanKYU who are doing the charity work, to be donated together with the rest.
Heart-warming artiste KyuJong and ThanKYU who always love and cherish KyuJong!
Until the next time when I’m here again to convey news of KyuJong~!
This winter has been exceptionally cold and flu is also very serious.
Hope that you will pay more attention to your health…

The drama “City Conquest,” which stars Kim Hyun Joong, will not be appearing on KBS. Now, the production company is arguing that KBS will not air the drama because of political reasons. However, KBS is arguing that it is not true.
The production company of “City Conquest” is Media 100. The company wrote in a press release, “KBS gave us a grace period from October 2012 to the end of 2013. We received an ‘Official Indication to Air’ and up until January 2013 we continued discussions with KBS.”
Media 100 continued, “We tried our best even with extreme production costs and we produced the drama alongside the KBS subsidiary ‘KBS Media.’ We even gave them shares regarding the production. However, after the new CEO was brought in, a high-ranking drama executive was replaced. All of the sudden, we received the news that the drama would not air.” We received the following message, “Although the contents of the drama and its profitability looks great, there is too much violence and it does not fit in well with the beginning of a new government.”
Media 100 continued to state that the faults of KBS and indicate that the response is good and the fans are anxiously awaiting the new drama.
A representative of KBS’ drama department stated, “Media 100’s accusations are not true.” KBS stated that the content contained too much violence and a storyline that was not fitting for public television. That is the reason why the drama will not air.” KBS continued to state that they were very “uncomfortable” with the political accusations.

On January 31, KBS made an official announcement on reasons why they decided not to air the TV series City Conquest through their network.
KBS said, “We are very sorry that the production company for the series insists that our decision is an arrogation. They even said that we are feeling constraint in the new government, which is completely not true.”
“We held four meetings to review the series and whenever the series receives suspension we asked the production crew to make up for the weak points in the series.”
“However, the recent proposal that they handed in for the latest meeting is insufficiently competitive and contains a lot of violence to air through public broadcasters. That’s why we decided not to air the series,”
“We clearly stated on the letter that if the script for the series is insufficiently competitive, it is not allowed to air. Even though we made the decision through our official system, the production company is insisting that we are feeling constraint in the new government. They also used an expression on defamation of character.”

Singer Kim Hyun Joong recently released pictures of himself.
On January 29, Kim posted several pictures on his Weibo account with the comment, “Mid-winter.”
In the pictures, Kim is assisted with scuba gear on the snow to go under the water and he is also wearing some kind of uniform for the shooting. His superior appearance drew a lot of attention.
People who saw the pictures responded: “What is he shooting?” “He looks cold but handsome.” “I can’t wait to see him.” “He is an alive statue.”
Kim will hold additional concerts of the Japan Tour 2013 Unlimited in Japanese cities, including, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo, until March.

A special concert to celebrate the 50th anniversary Korean immigration to Brazil will take place at the end of next month.
The 2K13 Feel Korea celebration will take place in Brazil’s Sao Paulo from February 23 through 25.
Funded and supported by Korea’s Ministry of Culture Sports and Tourism, the festival will also include a makeup school in which participants can learn beauty tips and trends of current Korean stars, as well as a dance school, in order to learn the popular Gangnam Style dance.
The highlight of the festival will be a special concert featuring Kim Hyun Joong, Baechigi and Ongals on February 24.
